How the journey unfolds
1. ENQUIRE
The first step always feels like the biggest… but it’s so worth it. Get peace of mind knowing you’re heading in the right direction.
2. ATTEND THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT
We arrange a time to meet you and your child in person. In this meeting, we go through your child’s case history and the current challenges they are facing.
We may also conduct a formal assessment, providing a report if necessary.
Most importantly, we will have lots of fun building rapport with your child.
3. STAY SUPPORTED WITH EACH SESSION
You and your child will attend regularly, based on their individual needs. Options include weekly, fortnightly or monthly appointments. Each session, we check in with how things are going at home and spend time building trust and connection with you and your child. Through age-appropriate play-based therapy, we target the goals established in our initial appointment.
